NOTE! These are Adobe Illustrator Files that form the source art for the jpg files that constitute the actual screen saver. If you don't have Illustrator or a compatible app like Freehand, these files may not be of any use to you. They are intended to be a template for your use to create your own customized jpg HAL screens.

These are based on a screen actually from Piers Bizony's book, pg. 129 of a screen from the PAN AM Orion shuttle. Another shot of it can be seen in a wider shot on pg. 28 earlier in the book.

If you see something I missed, or see something you want to suggest, drop me a line...

This based on a screen actually from Piers Bizony's book, pg. 50 of a screen from a display near Dave's right hand in a Pod interior shot. The text on this repro, as in most of these are complete gibberish.

These are some screens I made based on one of the images from the film. Though I'm sure that the real fim graphic is more detailed than this, I couldn't make out any better what it's supposed to represent... It occurs also on my HAL Interface page in one of the gifs...

The MX text is sort of added to these. I've seen this occur in some of the images as it or other similar pieces of text are the most legible things that one can see on video tape. What it's supposed to mean, I have no idea...
