Note:
To eliminate confusion, let me explain that this
is the original version of the HAL screen saver I made in 1999
in the form of a JPG slide show.
You may have ended up on this page looking for the more current
HAL Flash Screen Saver which is built in Macromedia Flash
and has full motion animation to more closely approximate the
look and feel of HAL's screens from the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey.
It can
be found here HAL9000 Main Site (Temporarily
off-line It should be back up soon.)
I have
left this version up since it still is useful if you have an older
computer that runs less than 100mhz or won't support Flash.
